Products and Product Information
FixBuddy sells electronic products that may include brand-new, renewed, refurbished, open-box, or other clearly described product conditions.
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, specifications, condition information, images, pricing, and warranty details.
Customers are responsible for reviewing the product description, specifications, compatibility information, condition, included accessories, warranty information, and other relevant details before completing a purchase.
Product images may be illustrative. Minor cosmetic or visual differences may exist, particularly for renewed or refurbished products, provided that the product supplied is consistent with the condition and specifications communicated at the time of purchase.
Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed and processed.
Renewed and Refurbished Products
Where a product is described as renewed or refurbished, the customer acknowledges that the product is not brand new unless expressly stated otherwise.
Renewed or refurbished products may have minor cosmetic signs of previous use that do not materially affect their intended functionality. The applicable product condition should be described on the relevant product page or communicated before purchase.
Any warranty applicable to a renewed or refurbished product will be stated in the product description, invoice, receipt, or warranty documentation.
Customers should review the specific product listing carefully before completing a purchase.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in the currency stated on the website.
FixBuddy reserves the right to update product and service prices at any time. Price changes will not normally affect orders already accepted and confirmed, except where an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred.
Customers are responsible for paying the full amount shown during checkout or otherwise agreed before the service is performed.
Available payment methods may vary and may include online payment, card payment, cash on delivery, bank transfer, or other payment options made available by FixBuddy.
Payment processing may be provided through independent third-party payment service providers and may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Typographical, Pricing, and Listing Errors
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information and pricing are accurate.
However, errors may occasionally occur in relation to:
-
Product prices.
-
Product descriptions.
-
Specifications.
-
Stock availability.
-
Promotional information.
-
Images.
-
Warranty information.
-
Shipping charges.
-
Technical information.
Where an obvious error has occurred, FixBuddy may correct the information and, where necessary, cancel or refuse the affected order.
If payment has already been collected for an order cancelled solely because of such an error, the amount paid for the cancelled item or order will be refunded through the appropriate payment method.
Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance.
FixBuddy may decline or cancel an order where:
-
The product is unavailable.
-
A pricing or listing error has occurred.
-
Payment cannot be verified or completed.
-
Fraudulent or suspicious activity is reasonably suspected.
-
Delivery cannot reasonably be completed.
-
The order violates applicable law or these Terms.
-
A product fails our quality inspection before dispatch.
Where an order is cancelled after payment has been collected, any eligible refund will be processed in accordance with our Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy.
Delivery, Pickup, and Collection
FixBuddy may offer delivery, device pickup, device return, and collection services in selected locations.
Estimated delivery, pickup, and repair completion times are estimates unless a specific commitment has been expressly agreed.
Delays may occur because of:
-
Product or spare-part availability.
-
Supplier delays.
-
Courier delays.
-
Incorrect or incomplete customer information.
-
Difficulty contacting the customer.
-
Technical complexity.
-
Additional faults discovered during diagnosis.
-
Force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, delivery information, and access instructions.
If a customer refuses delivery, repeatedly fails to respond, provides incorrect delivery information, or is unavailable for an agreed collection or delivery, reasonable additional logistics or handling charges may apply.
Repair Service Bookings
Customers may book repair services through the website, telephone, WhatsApp, in-store communication, or other channels made available by FixBuddy.
A repair booking does not guarantee that a device can be successfully repaired.
The final repair requirements may only become clear after technical inspection or diagnosis.
Before proceeding with chargeable repairs or changes to a device, FixBuddy may provide the customer with information regarding:
-
The diagnosed or suspected issue.
-
The proposed repair.
-
Estimated repair cost.
-
Estimated completion period.
-
Applicable repair or replacement-part warranty.
Repair work requiring customer approval will proceed after approval is received through an accepted communication channel.
Diagnosis and Quotations
Initial estimates may be based on symptoms described by the customer and may change after physical inspection or technical diagnosis.
A quotation may be revised where:
-
Additional faults are discovered.
-
Previously hidden damage becomes visible.
-
The device has evidence of liquid exposure or corrosion.
-
Additional components require replacement.
-
The original diagnosis changes following disassembly or testing.
-
Required parts differ from those initially expected.
FixBuddy will seek customer approval before carrying out additional chargeable work beyond the approved scope.
Where a diagnostic or inspection charge applies, it will be communicated to the customer before the relevant chargeable diagnostic work is performed.
Repair Completion Times
Any repair completion period provided is an estimate unless FixBuddy expressly confirms a specific completion commitment.
Repair times may vary depending on the device condition, complexity of the fault, availability of replacement parts, supplier lead times, testing requirements, and other technical factors.
If the estimated completion time materially changes, FixBuddy will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer.
Any rights available to customers under applicable UAE law remain unaffected.
Replacement Parts
Repairs may involve new, original, OEM-equivalent, compatible, renewed, refurbished, or used replacement components depending on availability, customer preference, repair economics, and the nature of the device.
Where relevant, the type of replacement component will be communicated to the customer or identified in the repair documentation or invoice.
FixBuddy will not intentionally represent a compatible, renewed, refurbished, or used component as a brand-new original manufacturer component.
Availability of specific spare parts cannot always be guaranteed, particularly for discontinued, uncommon, imported, or older devices.
Repair Service Warranty
Any warranty applicable to a repair service or replacement part will be stated in the repair documentation, invoice, receipt, or other written communication provided by FixBuddy.
Repair and replacement-part warranties apply to the specific repair performed or part replaced and do not automatically cover unrelated faults or subsequent damage.
Nothing in these Terms limits any minimum repair-service or replacement-part warranty obligations required under applicable UAE law.
A repair warranty may not apply where the subsequent issue results from:
-
Accidental damage.
-
Physical impact.
-
Liquid or moisture exposure.
-
Misuse or negligence.
-
Electrical damage or power surge.
-
Unauthorised third-party repair or modification that causes or contributes to the fault.
-
A separate component failure unrelated to the original repair.
-
Software modification, malware, or unsupported software.
-
Customer-supplied parts that are defective or incompatible.
All repair warranty claims are subject to technical inspection.
Product Warranty
Certain products sold by FixBuddy, including selected renewed laptops, brand-new laptops, desktop computers, and other electronic devices, may include a limited warranty.
A FixBuddy product warranty applies only where a warranty and its applicable period are explicitly stated on the relevant product page, product description, invoice, receipt, or warranty documentation.
Where a product is advertised with a 1-year warranty, the warranty period begins from the date of purchase or delivery, as applicable under the relevant warranty terms and applicable law.
Other products may have different warranty periods.
Where no voluntary FixBuddy warranty is expressly stated, no additional voluntary FixBuddy warranty is provided. This does not limit any mandatory rights or remedies available under applicable UAE law.
Warranty claims are subject to the conditions and exclusions set out in the applicable warranty information and FixBuddyβs Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy.
Returns and Refunds
Returns, exchanges, refunds, and product warranty claims are governed by FixBuddyβs Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, FixBuddy provides a 7-calendar-day return period from the date the customer receives the product, subject to the conditions stated in that policy.
Approved change-of-mind returns may be subject to an operational deduction ranging from 0% to 20% of the product price, depending on the product condition and reasonable processing costs.
Where eligible product packaging has been opened but the non-defective product remains unused and has no visible scratches, marks, damage, or signs of wear, a 20% deduction from the product price may apply.
Applicable return shipping, pickup, or collection charges may also be deducted, up to a maximum of AED 100, where permitted under the Refund, Returns and Warranty Policy.
These commercial change-of-mind terms do not limit customer rights relating to defective, damaged, misdescribed, or incorrectly supplied products under applicable UAE law.
Customer Devices and Data
Customers are responsible for backing up personal data before submitting a device for inspection, diagnosis, repair, return, exchange, or warranty service.
Before submitting a device, customers are advised to:
-
Back up important files, photographs, documents, contacts, and other data.
-
Remove SIM cards and memory cards unless required for diagnosis.
-
Disable device tracking and activation locks where necessary.
-
Remove passwords or provide temporary access credentials where required for testing.
-
Sign out of personal accounts where appropriate.
-
Inform FixBuddy of known device faults and relevant previous repair history.
Repair, diagnosis, hardware failure, storage failure, software corruption, operating system installation, device reset, component replacement, or other necessary technical procedures may result in data loss.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, FixBuddy is not responsible for data loss caused by pre-existing hardware failure, storage failure, software corruption, or procedures reasonably necessary to diagnose, repair, reset, replace, or test a device.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Device Access and Security Locks
The customer is responsible for disabling or providing access through passwords, PINs, BIOS passwords, activation locks, Find My iPhone, Find My Device, or similar security systems where access is reasonably necessary for diagnosis or repair.
FixBuddy may be unable to complete testing or repair where the required device access is not provided.
The customer confirms that they own the device or have lawful authority to submit it for service.
FixBuddy reserves the right to refuse service where there is reasonable concern regarding ownership, theft, fraud, unlawful access, or device authenticity.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Where FixBuddy agrees to install a part supplied by the customer, FixBuddy does not guarantee the quality, authenticity, compatibility, or durability of that customer-supplied part.
Any service warranty provided in such circumstances applies only to the workmanship performed by FixBuddy, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
FixBuddy may refuse to install a customer-supplied part where the part appears unsafe, damaged, incompatible, counterfeit, or unsuitable for the device.
Uncollected Devices
Customers are responsible for collecting devices after being informed that diagnosis, repair, inspection, or other requested work has been completed.
FixBuddy will make reasonable efforts to contact the customer using the contact information provided.
Where a device remains uncollected for an extended period, reasonable storage or handling charges may apply if communicated to the customer.
Any further handling of devices that remain uncollected for a prolonged period will be carried out in accordance with applicable UAE law.
Customer Conduct
Customers must communicate with FixBuddy staff, technicians, delivery personnel, and representatives in a lawful and reasonable manner.
FixBuddy may refuse or discontinue non-mandatory services in cases involving:
-
Threats or violence.
-
Harassment or abusive conduct.
-
Fraud or attempted fraud.
-
Deliberate provision of false information.
-
Unlawful requests.
-
Attempts to access or repair devices without lawful authority.
This does not affect any obligations or remedies that FixBuddy is required to provide under applicable law.
Reviews and User Content
Customers may be able to submit reviews, feedback, photographs, comments, or other content.
Submitted content must not:
-
Contain knowingly false or misleading statements.
-
Contain unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, or defamatory material.
-
Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other third-party rights.
-
Promote illegal activity.
-
Contain malware, harmful links, or malicious content.
-
Misrepresent the reviewer's genuine experience.
FixBuddy may moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or comply with applicable law.
By submitting content for publication, you grant FixBuddy a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, and share that content for legitimate business and marketing purposes, subject to applicable privacy and intellectual property laws.
Feedback and Suggestions
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, recommendations, or feedback about FixBuddyβs website, products, or services, FixBuddy may use that feedback to improve its business, services, and customer experience.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, voluntary suggestions do not create an obligation to compensate the person providing them.
This section does not transfer ownership of confidential information or intellectual property that you already legally own.

The FixBuddy website and its original content, branding, graphics, text, layouts, designs, photographs, videos, software elements, logos, trademarks, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to FixBuddy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
